Why do I do this?
This
site is a reflection of my personal interests in the ocean
environment, scuba diving, photography/video, history and
more.
I’m fortunate to be able to combine several of my interests
and share them with others through the use of this website.

I do this primarily for personal enjoyment. Being a diver
for nearly 30 years, I’ve had the opportunity to be part
of expeditions and trips, some that have taken me to
distant corners of the world.
But most importantly, I realize that our environment is in a
constant state of change, both underwater and above. The
effects of the ocean continue to devour shipwrecks. In time
there will nothing left but a stain on the ocean floor.
Threats, natural and mankind are affecting the world’s
coral reef system. Marine life is vanishing at an alarming
rate. Shoreline erosion forced the relocation of an East
Coast lighthouse while others remain threatened.
So why do I do this? - To visually document and preserve a
small piece of history and the beauty of the environment for
current and future generations to experience and enjoy.

it's gone forever
